    Cause analysis of noise:

    1.Is the firmware of the fan firm?

    If the fasteners cannot be tightly combined with the equipment, the vibration generated when the fan is running at high speed will be between the fixing plate and the fan, and repeated collisions will produce a lot of noise.

    2.Is the dust in the fan environment big?

    If dust is infiltrated into the shaft of the fan, the noise will increase as the friction coefficient increases when the fan blades rotate.

    3.Is the temperature of the fan environment higher than 75 degrees?

    If the fan with oil bearing was originally purchased, and the ambient temperature of the fan was higher than 75 degrees for a long time, the oil in the fan bearing would be dried and evaporated within three months.Due to the loss of lubrication, the friction coefficient increased, and the noise of the fan would be very loud, and the fan blades even stopped rotating.

    Workaround:

    1.add lubricating oil

    Noise occurs in the cooling fan, which may be caused by friction and noise when the bearing is running at high speed after being used for a long time.Therefore, we need to check regularly.Once we find that there is a lack of lubricating oil, we will drop a few drops of lubricating oil on the cooling fan bearing in time to ensure the smooth running of the bearing.

    2.fix the fan blades .

    Vibration of cooling fan is also one of the reasons for noise of cooling fan.Loose blades on bearings or wear of bearings lead to large clearance, which may lead to instability of fans, thus causing vibration and noise during operation.In this case, we just need to retighten the screws of the fan and fix them.

    3.Grinding fan blades .

    If the cooling fan with quality deviation is used, the center of gravity of the fan blade may not be located on the axis due to defects in the manufacturing process after long-term use, which will not only produce noise, but also damage the fan in serious cases.

    To solve this problem, we can disassemble the fan, hang it at its center with a thin thread, wait for it to stand still and see which direction it sinks, lightly grind the sinking end on the grinding wheel for a few times, and then test it, until the fan can be reinstalled when it is in a horizontal position.
